Product notes

Every year, the company produces wines made from several varieties of white grapes grown in our vineyards on the Setúbal Peninsula. In recent years, we have discovered exceptional qualities in our white wines, which has led us to create a new brand to introduce these treasures to consumers. This Greco di Tufo comes from the first Portuguese vineyard of this variety, which originated in ancient Rome, where it was renowned for its aphrodisiac properties.

Production notes

The 2023 vintage exhibits good natural acidity and is highly floral, mineral, and aromatic, thanks to the weather conditions during the growing season, with the grapes ripening slightly later than usual—a factor that enhanced the quality of this variety. After a long pre-fermentation maceration, the grapes were gently pressed and the must fermented very slowly at a controlled temperature. It then aged on its fine lees for five months, giving it a smooth texture and a long finish on the palate. The final blend was assembled on March 5, 2024, taking advantage of the “explosion” of aromas and freshness characteristic of wines that have just finished fermenting, and bottling took place on May 20, 2024.

Tasting notes

A golden yellow color with slight orange undertones. Complex aromas revealing floral and citrus notes, with hints of dried flowers, lavender, grapefruit, and ripe orange. On the palate, it is elegant, with great depth, a solid structure, and a full body.
