Product notes

This Premier Cru, located on the left bank of the Serein River, takes its name from the Latin word "vallis," meaning "small valley." The wine is a blend of several vineyard sites on the "Vaillons" hillside, primarily the "Epinottes" vineyard, which has predominantly clay soils. This combination of several parcels with varied topography results in a wine of great aromatic complexity.

Production notes

Hand-harvested, grapes sorted, and gently pressed respecting the fruit. Alcoholic fermentation and aging on fine lees: 90% in stainless steel tanks and 10% in oak barrels aged 1 to 5 years for 10 months. Final aging in stainless steel tanks for 2 months.

Tasting notes

An expressive bouquet with notes of flowers and fresh fruit. A full and powerful palate supported by a lively mineral structure that gives it perfect balance.
