Les raisins proviennent du vignoble Casamaria en Maremme, où les brises chaudes et sèches de la mer Méditerranée favorisent le développement d'une fraîcheur et d'une minéralité distinctives. Les brises maritimes légèrement salines rafraîchissent et ventilent les vignes pendant la nuit et tôt le matin, tandis que le soleil toscan de l'après-midi nourrit les fruits jusqu'à leur parfaite maturité au moment de la récolte. Les sols sont composés de sable, enrichis de quartz et de calcaire.
Production notes
Grapes are harvested very early in the morning and stored in an oxygen-free environment to preserve their freshness. The grapes are gently pressed to avoid over-extraction. Maceration takes place at a controlled temperature of 12 hours at a cool 10-12°C (50-54°F) to retain fresh fruit aromas, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature (18-20°C, 65-68°F) for approximately 10 to 12 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on its lees for several months in stainless steel and concrete tanks before bottling in an oxygen-free environment to promote a balance between fruit, acidity, and phenols.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow in color. A bright, floral nose with aromas of acacia, yellow-fleshed stone fruit, and lime zest. On the palate, fresh and round, reflecting the nose with saline and mineral nuances. Persistent and well-balanced.
