Product notes

Located in Castellina, Chianti Altitude of 350 to 365 meters. Area of ​​the estate is 1.86 hectares.

Production notes

Winemaking began on September 5th and continued according to the ripeness of the grapes. Harvested by hand. Fermentation took place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks for 8 to 10 days, followed by 15 days of post-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation occurred in concrete tanks. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new), followed by at least 20 months of bottle aging.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby ​​red with garnet highlights. The bouquet is rich and persistent, with notes of red fruit, spices, vanilla, coffee, and cocoa. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced and velvety, with a tannic structure and a long finish.
