Production notes
Following a meticulous selection of grapes from the southeastern slopes of the Montalcino hills, the traditional winemaking process begins with a 10- to 12-day maceration on the skins. The wine is aged for several months in large Slavonian oak barrels. It is then refined in the bottle for two months before being released. In 2015, Rocca delle Macìe’s venture in the Montalcino region continued with the introduction of its youngest offering, Rosso di Montalcino. A wine from the same producer as the Brunello Esperienza 8.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with garnet highlights. A complex bouquet of ripe black cherries and red berries, well-balanced with spicy notes. Fresh and lively on the palate, this wine is fruity with supple tannins and a medium finish.
