François Fourel has been passionate about viticulture since childhood, participating in his first harvests in the Languedoc at the age of 13. After a career as a wine merchant, wholesaler, and estate director, François decided to produce his own wines. In 2004, he acquired a vineyard, returning to his roots in his native region. Languedoc & Pic Saint-Loup: In 2010, he established his project in the Languedoc, launching flagship cuvées such as "La Bastide Saint-Loup – Le Pic Rouge," a tribute to the Pic Saint-Loup terroir. Domaine du Peyra (also known as Domaine de Peyra) is characterized by its authentic wines and sustainable approach. The family estate has entered a new phase with the arrival of Charlotte Fourel, François's daughter, who now oversees business development. The wines, particularly the "Cent pour Cent" range, are crafted as sincere, convivial wines that authentically reflect the Hérault terroir.
